Blunchers is the expat networking event in Paphos which I really enjoy. Today was a great day because Jonas the founder of Blunchers was there and he had his birthday. I was also really happy to see a bunch of people I haven’t seen for a while and also some new faces.

Today I found out what a consultant does. So basically from what I understand can a consulting be everything. Some Consultants are programming, some are project managing, some are scrum master. It’s a blown up term to cover up everything and also look more professional than what you actually need in skills. So I can be a consultant when I program for others while do project management. I can also be a consultant when I am a solutions architect and or a lead developer.

Today I was watching videos again about my dopamine, additionally to that I had a interesting conversation with my friend. We had a discussion about consistency vs creative pushes and we more like shared our own view points, because he is the type of person who can wake up at 5am when he wants to to just get to work and study after his plan. Where as I said, that I am not able todo so. During the past months and years, I more and more got this belief of a productive person needs to wake up early. A person who can follow their schedule and so on.

Past October I moved to Cyprus to start my own chapter of life. I quit my job to become a freelance developer but so far it hasn’t turned out well. All thoughts started when I didn’t had any new challenge in my company, I was learning and learning day by day with mostly contributing to my own knowledge, while also contributing with tools and knowledge to my bigger project. Since I was able to lead my own team very early on with a massive amount of new learnings and speed I wanted to keep up, I was suddenly missing it in the other project Team, the bigger project team, the one already existing for multiple years.
