It's been a while! - Startup here I come!
It’s been a while since I was writing another blog post. So far I like to share my progress and what I am currently working on.
So I realized in the past couple of weeks, that I rather want to work for equity and percentages. I am not a fan of trading your time against a certain amount of money. So after some consulting and developer projects I decided to start my own startup.
My startup is nothing really new, but I think it will have a big benefit to the world in software development.
I got deeply inspired by M. Dilger and his code generation tool to simplify event sourcing. My plan is to improve and add onto that idea to generate code from an event model.
My first steps I need is to find some customers, my goal is to do that with TikTok, starting with short videos was always a challenge for me. Or I would even say in general marketing and social media. If you remember my first blog post, I was describing my anxiety in sharing my life. I overcome this situation actually quite random. A friend of me asked if we should do a pull-up challenge. Every day for me 25 pull-ups and we have to record and send the proof video into our group.
This made me realize how simple and easy it actually is to create content. So a week later now, I am here about to start my first TikTok video. I even started posting on Twitter today. For me these are huge accomplishments and a very important steps to the “Just do it!” mindset. My brain is still blocking myself from achieving what I want todo, I have no idea why, and I am on the way to figure it out.
Going back to my startup idea and progress, I have to find some people joining my waiting list. My next step will be to find investors. I would like to start with an initial investment of 200k euro, because I’d like to pay the consultants who have deep knowledge about some technologies. My Motto is here “pay once more in the beginning and reduce the cost curve”.
That goes hand in hand with my vision of my startup. “Help people build top notch software in the speed of no code.” Another Motto I could choose would be “Have a high initial price and smooth out the cost curve over time.” Or we say “Do it once good and not 10x bad.”. Some thoughts still coming up, but I think they all align with my vision.
A challenge here is how do I communicate my vision in a way, everyone understands me right away. But maybe this is again some overthinking thoughts. Let’s see what the time will bring.
That were my thoughts for today, stay tuned!
